Kernel: Mary Paxton

Mary's love of fabric and sewing started as early as Junior High with her involvement in theater. She graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in Comprehensive Theater and a minor in Art. Post-college, she found herself in Los Angeles working in theater, television, and film. Her professional path took an interesting turn that lasted for several years and she traveled internationally, producing incentive programs for a Los Angeles based company. She has returned to her Midwest roots, thinking she would retire, and realized retirement wasn't for her just yet!  So now, She is semi-retired and has found herself back at her trusty Singer sewing machine...back where her career started!
