Maiz Jaspe Table Runner

A meaningful and beautiful addition to any table setting. Entirely handwoven on the traditional backstrap loom by weavers in Sololá, this unique runner features indigo stripes with a maiz jaspe (ikat) design. Maiz, or corn, is the most important crop for the Maya people, the very gift of life from Mother Earth to her children. Blue background woven of recycled denim threads. Hand-twisted fringe.
