Collection: Mandala's by Lois

Lois Morse has worked with color in her art for many years. Whether she’s painting, quilting, or beading, color has always been a huge part of her artistic inspiration. Lois started dabbling in rock painting which took her into an exploration Dot Painted Mandala. The Mandala technique starts with a central dot that is painted in the middle of a mandala rock. Small patterns of symmetrical dots are painted in different colors around the central dot, creating a fluid, intricate pattern of dots in various colors and color combinations. Using the Mandala technique has allowed Lois to fully employ her love of color. She has been painting/dotting Mandalas for about 18 months and says, “I follow artists from all over the world, and they are so generous and talented!  I take so much inspiration from them.” Her most common question is “how long does that take?” Lois always replies with her motto, “One dot at a time.”
