Translating to "blue lotus", our Neel Kamal chime is similar to our previous Lotus Chime. This new chime features copper-colored metal with beautiful blue beads as accents and a gorgeous lotus-shaped mandala cut out in the center of the main petal.
Metal chimes are made from flat sheets/pieces of scrap metal and created by using basic hand tools and machinery. Metal work is a craft practiced in Behat in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, India.

These metal chimes are made by a single family in the town of Behat in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, India. Male members over the age of 18 in the family such as husbands, uncles, sons and nephews are all part of chime making. They work out of an old, converted house which is now their workshop in the remote village.
