Sue has been sewing off and on since she was 11 years old. She still remembers the summer dress that was her first make. After many years of not sewing much, she got back into it in 2009, including making her wedding outfit the following year. For a few years, she had an alterations business, but retired from that when she retired from her day job as a nurse in 2020. She now sews for fun, mostly making bags and accessories. Since you have to have the right to for the job, her studio includes four different sewing machines that cover everything she needs to do. She gets a lot of satisfaction from choosing designs and fabrics, and making her ideas take shape.
