Public education is one of the most impactful ways to create equal opportunities for children, families, and communities on the whole. An education that opens young minds to a world of possibilities is a fundamental human right. Unfortunately, communities of color are too often excluded from education reform, and students are “left behind” struggling in poorly funded, inequitable school systems.
